Born in Guelph, ON, Canada raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Donnie Keshawarz developed a passion for acting at a young age appearing in several high school productions where he began to hone his skills on stage. After receiving his BFA from Rutgers University and MFA from The University of Missouri, Donnie moved to New York City, where he still resides, to pursue acting full time. He appeared in Off-Broadway productions of DRIFTING ELEGANT, BIG OLE WASHING MACHINE, HOMEBODY/KABUL, THE MEMORANDUM and FALL as well as the Broadway productions of TABOO and Disney’s TARZAN where he starred on stage in the role of Clayton. Along with Donnie’s work on Broadway, he has had several guest appearances and recurring roles on some of the biggest shows on television including 24, Lost, Fringe, Homeland, The Sopranos & Damages. Donnie also starred as Detective Hanson in the single series run of the ABC fantasy crime drama Forever. In addition to television, Donnie appeared in feature films such as The Adjustment Bureau, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Cobbler & Experimenter. With upcoming appearances on NBC’s crime drama Shades of Blue and the CW network’s fantasy drama Beauty & The Beast slated for this year, Donnie will continue sharing his talent with viewers.
